On Friday, September 11, 2026, marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, Fallston High School students and staff came together for Laps for Legacy, a schoolwide tribute honoring the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Throughout the morning, students and staff walked with a shared purpose, turning each lap into an act of remembrance, reflection, and unity. At 9:47 a.m., the school reached its goal of 2,977 laps, one for every life lost that day.

The tribute did not end there. Students continued walking throughout the rest of the school day, extending the observance well past the numerical goal and demonstrating that remembrance is an ongoing commitment, not simply a milestone to reach.

Veterans and family members of victims joined the Fallston community for the morning portion of the event, adding a deeply personal dimension to the day's tribute.
